One of the top wingers in the Western Conference appears to be on the cusp of leaving Music City, as 32-year-old Jason Zucker enters free agency off a 32-point season for the Nashville Predators.
The veteran of 697 NHL games has tallied 370 points and a point share total of 40.4 with the Predators, Arizona Coyotes, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Minnesota Wild, winning the Clancy Award in 2019 with the latter of the bunch.
His one-year, $5.3 million contract with Nashville is about to expire, which means the veteran of 13 seasons in the NHL is about to hit the open market, which got us thinking about where Zucker will go next.
Using our Tennessee sports betting mindset, BetTennessee.com broke down hypothetical odds on which NHL franchise has the best chance of landing Zucker this offseason, with the hometown Predators leading the way.

Where Will Zucker Sign?
Right now, we have Nashville as our odds-on favorite to land Zucker, coming in at +600, with the Volunteer State’s lone NHL club beating out upstarts like the Buffalo Sabres and Los Angeles Kings (+800 each) for his services. A player like Zucker will go a long way for the Predators Stanley Cup Trophy odds.
Throw in longshot candidates like the Boston Bruins and Vancouver Canucks, who are listed at +1200 apiece, and the field at +120 and you have the full rundown on the NHL teams we envision chasing after a veteran of Zucker’s talent level.
While we won’t know more about the longstanding winger’s future until next month (at the earliest), it looks like Nashville fans can rest easy (for now) about the future of their team’s venerable forward, with the Predators being our top bet to land Zucker this offseason.
