Fact Checked by Thomas Leary

When it comes to NFL tailgating, every cityā€™s scene is different. But some elements are common everywhere: Food, beverages, friends, family, and maybe a bit of cornhole or Nerf ball tossing.

BetTennessee.com, the home of Tennessee sports betting, set out to find which NFL teams have the best tailgating in the four-team AFC South heading into the 2024-25 season. We turned to Stadium-Journey.com and Sports-Reference.com to create a scoring system based on food and beverages, atmosphere, fans and return on investment, plus each teamā€™s record in the 2023-24 season.

Titans Transition Underway

This has been an offseason of change for Tennessee on the heels of a 6-11 record in the 2023-24 NFL campaign. Small wonder, then, that Tennessee sportsbook apps give the team long odds of bouncing back to win the AFC South this season.

Brian Callahan takes over as head coach for the Titans after Mike Vrabelā€™s six-year tenure ended. The team did not re-sign quarterback Ryan Tannehill in the offseason (he is still a free agent) and the franchiseā€™s second all-time leading rusher, Derrick Henry, is gone to the Baltimore Ravens.

In the 2024 NFL Draft, Tennessee sought to shore up its interior play on both offense and defense. The Titans selected Alabama offensive lineman LC Latham seventh overall in April, then used their second-round selection (No. 38 overall) on Texas defensive lineman Tā€™Vondre Sweat. Keep track of Tennessee Titans playoff chances all season at BetTennessee.com to see if the rookies have a big impact.

The Titans also acquired running back Tony Pollard, wide receiver Calvin Ridley, center Lloyd Cushenberry and cornerback Lā€™Jarius Sneed and signed them all to long-term deals.
