Few metropolises in North America have become as synonymous with revelry as Nashville. The Music City’s nightlife scene and heady selection of honky-tonks and bars bolsters its standing nationally.
Prepping your post-gameday activities? BetTennessee.com, the home of Tennessee sports betting, wanted to help NFL fans out when figuring out what stadiums will provide the best nighttime atmosphere to celebrate any outcome.
Rank | Team | Total Score |
1 | Indianapolis Colts | 132.9 |
2 | Houston Texans | 128.8 |
3 | Jacksonville Jaguars | 102.9 |
4 | Tennessee Titans | 95 |
The table above comes from a scoring system we created, factoring in bars within walking distance (0.5 miles) of the stadium, average Google Review of the bars, and each team’s record from the 2023-24 season. Using these numbers, we ranked the best bar scenes in the four-team AFC South.

Unfortunately for Titans fans, the team’s digs at Nissan Stadium are on the wrong side of the Tennessee River to take advantage of the city’s famed nightlife on Broadway. As a result, when it comes to gameday atmosphere on NFL Sundays, the Titans wound up in the bottom of the AFC South when it came to such things.
Titans Score Poorly For Gameday Revelry
As far as non-football activities are concerned, the Titans’ digs at Nissan Stadium are sorely lacking compared to their AFC South brethren, with the Titans notching 95 points to finish behind the Jacksonville Jaguars (102.9 total points) for dead-last in the four-team division. Oddsmakers at Tennessee sportsbook apps rate the Houston Texans as preseason division favorites at right around +100 odds.
As for our list of best bar scenes, the Indianapolis Colts were the AFC South revelry winners, with a score of 132.9 points. Houston was the next closest team, at 128.8.
As for on-field metrics, things aren’t much rosier for Tennessee in 2024, with oddsmakers from FanDuel Tennessee Sportsbook giving the Titans the longest odds to win the AFC South, at +800.
Those odds put the Titans behind the Texans (+105), Jaguars (+270) and Colts (+330), according to the operator. That underscores how far Tennessee has to climb to the level that the organization had under head coach Mike Vrabel from 2017 to 2021, when the Titans reached the postseason four times and made the AFC Championship Game in 2019.
It looks like such a fate would be an upset of monumental proportions for first-year Titans head coach Brian Callahan in the 2024-25 season. FanDuel gives Tennessee +440 odds of making the postseason in 2024, compared to -650 odds that the Titans miss out on the postseason for a third straight season.
