Henry Runs to Head of Titans Class
Running back Derrick Henry (73 approximate value during decade) has been the face of the franchise since being drafted in the second round out of Alabama. His forceful running style is a menace to opponents and in five of those eight seasons has generated over 1,000 yards rushing, including a career-best 2,027 yards on the ground in 2020. In his last six seasons, he has scored 10 or more touchdowns, including a career-best 17 also in 2020.
He is 498 yards away from the milestone mark of 10,000 rush yards in his career (9,502) and is 10 scores away from 100 career TDs. The only question is will it be in Nashville or somewhere else when the 2024 season begins — check out our Derrick Henry next team odds.
Defensive lineman Jurrell Casey (60 AV) was a main cog in the defensive line for nine years in Tennessee (2011-2019), where he started in 137 of 139 games, recorded 507 tackles (332 solo, 84 for loss) and had 51 sacks. Last season, he played for the Denver Broncos and only started three games due to injury.
Safety Kevin Byard (59 AV) was a key contributor to Tennessee’s secondary for eight seasons (2016-2023), until he was sent to Philadelphia six games into last season. During his stay with the Titans, he started in 111 of 120 games, had 27 interceptions (333 yards) and one score, picked up four fumbles and had 627 tackles (434 solo, 15 for loss) with four sacks.
Offensive tackle Taylor Lewan (55 AV) had been the anchor of the Titans offensive line for nine seasons (2014-2022), but in two of the last three seasons played in only seven games (2020: 5, 2022: 2) unable to stay off the Titans injury report with 13 games played sandwiched in between (2021). Lewan was the 11th overall pick in the first round in 2014 out of Michigan.
Tennessee betting apps list the Titans with +15000 odds of winning the Super Bowl, tied with four other teams for the second worst in the NFL.
