Despite no live hockey game tonight but just in time to tune into the college football National Championship, Bridgestone Arena will be a bevy of activity as a new gathering spot has opened on-site.

Delaware North, the Nashville Predators’ foodservice and retail partner, and the NHL club opened the year-round BetMGM Sports Lounge Restaurant & Bar on premises Monday.

The 8,753 square-foot restaurant is located on the arena’s second floor above the Locker Room retail store, with two entrances — a streetside entry on 5th Avenue and one within the arena. Operating hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.

There will be no retail sports betting in the facility, but BetMGM Sportsbook Tennessee is available via phone app throughout the state.

“The BetMGM Sports Lounge marks an exciting collaboration between the Nashville Predators, Delaware North and BetMGM, bringing a fresh and dynamic dining experience to our fans and visitors,” said Dave Urso, senior vice president of operations for the Nashville Predators in a news release late last week. “We’re thrilled to see this innovative project come to life at the intersection of our passionate hockey community and Nashville’s iconic entertainment scene.”

Menu to Feature Local Favorites

Although it won’t showcase Tennessee sportsbooks, BetMGM’s menu will showcase classic American dishes with a local touch, featuring Nashville favorites such as Hot Honey Chicken Sliders and a Spicy Hand-Breaded Chicken BLT.

“The debut of the BetMGM Sports Lounge at Bridgestone Arena is part of our mission to deliver an all-encompassing entertainment experience to Tennessee whether they watch the games at home or in person,” said Matt Prevost, BetMGM chief revenue officer. “Our partnership with the Nashville Predators has been an immense success since we launched in Tennessee, and we look forward to expanding this relationship through dynamic moments that benefits the fans.”

The Predators (22-17-1) will host the Anaheim Ducks (13-25-1) at 8:08 p.m. ET on Tuesday. At BetMGM Sportsbook, one of 11 online Tennessee betting apps, Nashville is listed as a -1.5 goal (+105) and -225 money line favorite over Anaheim, which is a +1.5 goal (-130) and +180 underdog. The game's goal total is 6 (over -125, under +105).
