George signed with the Cowboys in the summer of 2004 after the Titans released him. He played one season in Dallas to end his career.

When Did Eddie George Retire From the NFL?

George retired from the NFL after a single season with the Dallas Cowboys in 2004, when he ran for a career-low 432 yards and four touchdowns in 13 games (eight starts).

He was selected by the Houston Oilers at No 14 overall in the 1996 NFL Draft, coming off of a Heisman Trophy season in 1995 at Ohio State. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2011.
