When it comes to wanting to look your best no matter your age, people in Tennessee look for all kinds of ways to make that happen.
In fact, the Volunteer State ranks among the highest when it comes to looking into plastic surgery options.
As Botox Cosmetic Day arrives on the third Wednesday of November, BetTennessee.com took a break from Tennessee sportsbooks and used Google Trends to find each state’s average RSV (relative search volume) for the terms “botox,” “rhinoplasty,” “liposuction,” “lip fillers,” “abdominoplasty,” and “breast augmentation” between the dates Nov. 8, 2022 and Nov. 8, 2023 and ranked them accordingly. Then BetTennessee.com ranked each procedure’s popularity within Tennessee using Google Trends interest ranking from the same time period.

Tennesseans Love to Look Good
Tennessee is tied for 16th in the nation with Alabama with an average search volume of 66.7. Florida ranks No. 1 at 86.3, followed by California (81.6), Utah (81.2), Nevada (80.8) and Arizona (79.8).
In fact, Botox is the No. 1 procedure searched for by Tennessee residents with an 82 search volume. Rhinoplasty, or a nose job, is next, followed by breast augmentation and abdominoplasty, or a tummy tuck.
But what should you be looking for when searching for a plastic surgeon? Perhaps because the state is the home of Nashville and its country music stars, a quick look at Tennessee and plastic surgery yields an astonishing 68 million results filled with doctors and clinics hoping to grab your attention. It can seem overwhelming.
Relying on word of mouth, people you know is a great place to start. But in place of that, it’s a good idea to make sure the surgeon has been certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Since 1941, the ABPS has qualified each member by requiring training, and it’s one of 24 medical boards certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties.
One way to make sure the doctor you’re choosing has the training is to check www.certificationmatters.org, to verify the credentials. Also, as with any medical procedure, it’s often best to get a second opinion before deciding on your best option.
Medifind.com also has a few ways to search for the right plastic surgeons based on relevance, rating and distance. One of the best ways to evaluate the doctors is by looking at those who have videos. That can give you a sense of the doctor’s personality and approach.
And if you’re looking for the right Tennessee betting apps, BetTennessee.com is the place for reviews, offers and more.
