Across the state, only three cities are expected to receive north of four snow days this winter, with the aforementioned trio of Johnson City, Kingsport and Knoxville leading the way.

Among Tennesseeās largest cities, Knoxville is expected to get the most snow - while Memphis is projected to get the least amount of white stuff between now and the end of February, while Nashville is in between those two with 2.38 snow days expected between now and then.
The only other city in the state thatās expected to get more than three snow days over the next three months is Jackson, which is projected to see 3.17 snow days during the period in question, speaking to the lack of snow that the Volunteer State gets from the Appalachian Mountains west towards the bluffs along the banks of the Mississippi River.
