Who Signs Nico Iamaleava Out Of The Transfer Portal?

For now, we’re going with the UCLA Bruins and DeShaun Foster as the early odds-on favorite to land the former UT star, with the Bruins checking in at +300 to land him, ranking just ahead of another SoCal stalwart in USC (+450).

Two years ago, Iamaleava chose Tennessee over four other FBS programs, including SEC rivals Alabama and Auburn, with two former Pac-12 (now Big 12) teams in Arizona and ASU being the others to make the final cut in 2023.

Whichever program gets Iamaleava out of the portal is getting a player that’s gone 11-3 in the college ranks, leading UT to the program’s first CFP berth on the heels of a 2,616-yard, 19-touchdown redshirt freshman campaign with the SEC program.

Two other programs that we have on Iamaleava watch right now are the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, who clock in at +800, and the Texas Tech Red Raiders (+600) as the college football world waits to see what shakes out from the five-star high school recruit’s decision to leave Knoxville after two years with the Volunteers.
